Delivering efficient global procurement processes with advanced AI technologies
The Challenge
Unilever is leading an initiative to transform global procurement operations. In partnership with Accenture, IVADO Labs, Novacene AI, and Larus Technologies, Unilever will develop and deploy a next-generation decision intelligence platform through its Horizon3 AI Labs in Toronto. The platform includes two integrated components: Procurement GPT, a conversational orchestration engine that provides a single, easy-to-use interface enabled by AI agents for procurement decision making; and Competitive Buying AI, a forecasting and optimization engine that combines multivariate time-series modeling with sentiment analysis to deliver predictive insights and actionable recommendations. These tools will significantly improve buyer self-service, reduce sustainability query resolution times, and enhance procurement agility.
