The Challenge

Transat is focused on optimizing its Revenue Management (RM) practices as part of its broader Elevation program, which aims to improve operational efficiency and enhance competitiveness in the global airline industry. This initiative focuses on two strategic priorities designed to unlock substantial incremental revenue: optimizing branded fares and ancillary pricing through machine-learning models that better capture customer willingness to pay and predicting no-shows with AI tools to refine overbooking strategies and reduce empty seats. By embedding these AI-driven capabilities, this initiative is expected to drive meaningful revenue growth and reinforce Transat’s leadership in data-driven airline management.
