From ALL IN to Dubai: Strengthening Canada–UAE Ties
Led by Scale AI, Canada’s participation in the World Governments Summit 2026 forms part of Canada’s broader strategy to deepen strategic partnerships and builds on a strengthening relationship between Canada and the United Arab Emirates, marked in 2024 by the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations and reinforced by a series of high-level engagements and agreements. This momentum was underscored by Prime Minister Mark Carney’s visit to the UAE in November 2025, during which both countries reaffirmed their commitment to expanding cooperation across trade, investment, innovation, and digital transformation, including the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding to advance collaboration in artificial intelligence. The UAE’s role as Country of Honour at ALL IN, Scale AI’s flagship event, further highlighted AI as a cornerstone of the bilateral relationship.
More information on the delegates can be found on the official page of the delegation.
By facilitating meaningful exchanges between Canadian innovators and international decision-makers, this mission represents a strategic opportunity to accelerate the global impact of Canadian AI solutions, while reaffirming Canada’s role as a leader in responsible innovation and future-focused governance.
